Overview
FIVE DEGENS is fantasy football where the players are public Solana trader wallets. You draft five, pick a captain, and score from what those wallets realize on-chain each gameweek.
The pool is the members of pump.fun's Squads competition. Gameweeks last 12 hours, with deadlines every day at 02:00 & 14:00 UTC.
- Season 0The warm-up, on the competition's week (Nov 2–Nov 9). There's no $FIVE yet, so every lineup counts and there are no prizes. It ends early if $FIVE launches first.
- Season 1Starts the moment $FIVE goes live. Its first deadline is the next deadline slot at least 3 hours after launch — time to buy in and check your lineup.
- After thatWeekly seasons — 14 gameweeks each — run back to back. Each one crowns its own winners, then the table resets. No end date.
- Carry-overYour lineup rolls into the next season by itself. Points, transfers and chips reset; changes before a season's first deadline are free.
There's no entry fee. To enter a gameweek you hold 100,000 $FIVE in the wallet you play with — the tokens stay yours. Creator fees on the coin fund the prize pool and buybacks.
Lineup & budget
- Starters5 traders
- Salary cap50.0 for the five starters
- Prices4.0 – 15.0, in 0.5 steps
- Squad limitMax 2 starters from the same pump squad
- Bench1 slot (2 for holders). Bench picks sit outside the cap but must cost ≤ 6.0
Card tiers follow price: Common under 10.0, Rare from 10.0, Legendary from 13.0.
Captain & auto-subs
Your captain scores ×2 — negative points included. Pick a vice-captain too: if your captain closes zero trades in the gameweek, the vice takes the armband.
If a starter closes zero (non-dust) trades, the first bench trader who did is subbed in automatically. Bench order is priority order.
Transfers & chips
Lineups lock when a gameweek starts (02:00 & 14:00 UTC). Changes you make during a gameweek apply from the next one. You get 1 free transfer per gameweek; unused ones roll over up to 2. Every extra transfer costs −4 points, charged at the deadline. Before a season's first deadline, changes are free.
- WildcardUnlimited free transfers for one gameweek. 1 per season.
- Twin CaptainCaptain AND vice both score ×2 for one gameweek. Holders only, 1 per season.
Scoring table
Points are computed per trader per gameweek, then summed for your lineup. Points from SOL are truncated toward zero.
| Event | Points | |
|---|---|---|
Showed up At least one closed trade in the gameweek. | At least one closed trade in the gameweek. | +2 |
Realized PnL — profit Per SOL of net realized profit, first 10 SOL | Per SOL of net realized profit, first 10 SOL | +3 / SOL |
Realized PnL — profit Per SOL above 10 SOL | Per SOL above 10 SOL | +1 / SOL |
Realized PnL — loss Per SOL of net realized loss, first 10 SOL | Per SOL of net realized loss, first 10 SOL | −3 / SOL |
Realized PnL — loss Per SOL lost above 10 SOL. A gameweek's loss costs at most 50 | Per SOL lost above 10 SOL. A gameweek's loss costs at most 50 | −1 / SOL |
Pricing
Each trader gets a form score from trailing realized PnL and how consistently they close green:
form = 0.6 × sign(pnl) × ln(1 + |pnl SOL|)
+ 2.0 × (green days / active days − 0.5)
+ 0.5 × min(1, active days / (window ÷ 2))
price = 4.0 + 11.0 × percentile(form)^1.35 → rounded to 0.5The curve is convex on purpose: most of the pool is affordable, only the top slice is expensive. Prices are recomputed at each gameweek deadline and can move at most ±0.5 per gameweek. A trader who banks on twelve different days prices above one who hit a single lucky coin.
Opening prices. Before kickoff, every trader is priced once from their own on-chain form over the last 14 days — the same formula as at every deadline, without the cap. Traders who haven't closed a trade in that time open cheap. Until then the pool shows provisional prices from pump.fun's competition board (realized PnL plus 25% of unrealized). From the first deadline on, prices move at most ±0.5 per gameweek.
Leagues

How to enter
Anyone can draft. For a gameweek to count — toward leagues, ranks and prizes — the wallet linked to your team must hold at least 100,000 $FIVE. There's nothing to pay and nothing to stake: the tokens stay in your wallet.
- At the deadlineYour balance is read when the gameweek locks. Below the requirement, that gameweek plays as practice: you see your points, they don't count.
- Spot checkOnce per gameweek, at a random moment, every entered wallet is read again. Sold below the requirement mid-gameweek? That gameweek turns into practice.
- Fair missesIf Solana can't be reached, we use your last confirmed balance. An RPC hiccup never knocks you out.
- One walletOne wallet per team, and a wallet can only be linked to one team. Your lineup's wallet is also where prizes are paid.
Until $FIVE launches, every lineup counts.
Prize pool
Everything is funded by creator fees from the $FIVE coin on pump.fun. Coin address: TBA.
- Buybacks50% of creator fees buy $FIVE back on the open market.
- Prizes50% goes to the prize pool, paid in SOL.
Every season (one week, from Season 1 on) the prize pool goes to the top 10 of the Global League:
- 125%
- 218%
- 313%
- 410%
- 58%
- 67%
- 76%
- 85%
Holder perks
Holding 1,000,000+ $FIVE (checked on sign-in and at every deadline) unlocks quality-of-life perks — never extra points directly:
- Extra bench slot2 bench slots instead of 1.
- Twin CaptainOne gameweek where captain and vice both double.
- High Roller LeagueA holders-only league.
Data & fairness
Scores come from the chain, not from any platform's leaderboard. A worker pulls each wallet's parsed transactions from Helius every five minutes and computes realized PnL with average-cost accounting per coin. SOL, wSOL and stablecoins (converted at the SOL price) all count as SOL legs. Fees count as cost.
- Realized only. Unrealized PnL on illiquid coins is trivially pumped. Realized SOL actually left the pool.
- No basis, no profit. Tokens that arrive by transfer or airdrop have no cost basis, so selling them realizes nothing. You can't send yourself a bag and call it alpha.
- Dust doesn't count. Tiny trades can't farm win rate or appearances.
- Rug check uses the largest position of the gameweek: closed below 10% of cost, or still open and marked below 10% of cost.
